Jewellery Fair 2007
AGR Matthey dazzles the JAA Jewellery Fair with a sensational new look!
AGR Matthey resurfaced this year with a bold black and gold contemporary look at the Sydney JAA Jewellery Fair, 12-14 of August. Framed by a newly designed corporate image and stand, new jewellery ranges were received with intense interest.
Amongst many of the new product offerings, a Christmas range featuring seven unique collections was introduced. Sourced in line with the most current international trends, these collections featured an assortment of both classic and contemporary designs. There was particular interest in pieces that featured a touch of sparkle using precious stones or diamond cut finishes.
AGR Matthey also excitedly presented a new range of rings, Palladium White. This rare and desirable new white metal was highly sought after by the fashion forward consumer.
Attracting equally high interest, the anticipated Essential Chains and Bracelets, and Jewellery Catalogues (complete with presentation slipcase) were received by over 500 customers. In addition to the main display, over 3,500 lines of Essential core range was featured in an external meeting room and exclusively priced lines in the Showcase Buying Room.
After some extremely busy days, AGR Matthey continued on with social evening events attending JGBS and Showcase functions. Many clients took the opportunity to wind down at AGR Matthey’s ‘Thank You’ drinks Bungalow 8 on the Monday Night.
Adding a touch of glamour to the Fair, AGR Matthey featured the Next Generation Design Award pieces in two catwalk parades. These parades featured finalist pieces from the inaugural Design Awards, which was developed by AGR Matthey to recognise innovation and excellence in Australia’s jewellery design and manufacture. Continuing this quest to identify and encourage new talent, parades were fashioned by budding young Sydney models and commentated by Angela Eichler, Market Solutions Manager.
Overall, AGR Matthey’s new look at the JAA Jewellery Trade Fair was in direct reflection of the business’ repositioning over the past 18 months. Along with a new corporate image, Australia’s leading gold wholesaler is now taking a unique position offering continued support to the industry. To date, new jewellery ranges including both core Essential and seasonal lines have been sourced reflecting the most competitive prices and up to date trends. AGR Matthey has also shown a strong focus towards linking new designers, manufacturers and retailers, with many future projects in planning.
